Manitoba Restaurant Chain Sold

Winnipeg, MB. – The Winnipeg restaurant chain, Salisbury House, which has been around for 86-years and has 19 locations in Manitoba was sold yesterday.

The Chain will now be run by the team of Noel Bernier, Dave Filmon and the Metis Economic Development Fund.

Noel Bernier certainly understands the food business. he presently owns several city restaurants including Hermanos and Carnaval.

Earl & Cheryl Barish, part of the majority ownership group of The Salisbury House Chain, decided to sell their stake in the business early this year.
