WINNIPEG – More of Manitoba’s front-line workers might be eligible for a CoVid-19 risk payment.
The $120 million dollar program was announced recently and details were released this week but some union officials are complaining because they weren’t part of the process. Critics also don’t like the $2,500 a month cutoff.
Premier Brian Pallister now says if there aren’t enough applicants, things may be opened up to workers who make more money.
The deadline to apply is June 18th. You can get more information and apply here https://manitoba.ca/covid19/infomanitobans/mrrp.html
