MPI REBATES COMING

WINNIPEG – Manitoba Public Insurance is returning up to $110 million to policyholders as they deal with CoVid-19. Crown Services Minister Jeff Wharton says rebate checks will be sent out when the money is needed instead of offering future reduced premiums. The rebates will be based on what you paid for vehicle insurance last year. But the return of about 11 per cent will amount to between $140 and $160 for the average driver. Wharton says more details will be made available in the coming weeks.
