Multiple Weapons Charges For Robbery Duo

On November 8, at 12:45 a.m., Police were flagged down by a convenience store employee in the area of Ellice Avenue and Arlington Street and told of a theft which had just occurred. The suspect entered the passenger side of a vehicle and fled.

Officers found the vehicle and followed it to Portage Avenue and Erin Street where assisting officers deployed a stop stick. The vehicle came to a stop in the 1700 block of Portage Avenue. Police approached the vehicle and saw what turned out to be a loaded .22 rifle between the driver and passenger. The male driver and a female passenger were safely taken into custody.

Upon searching the driver he had several items on him including, a folding knife, a large hunting style knife, an eight ball, and a single round of .22 caliber ammunition.

A 17-year-old female of Winnipeg has been charged with:

Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle

Transport Firearm of Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations

Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime

Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000

Theft Under $5000

Myles Anthony Delima, a 31-year-old male of Winnipeg has been charged with:

Carry Concealed Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition X3

Possess Weapon X4

Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized X2

Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle

Transport Firearm of Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations

Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime

Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition

Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X2

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000

Drive Suspended While Disqualified
