WINNIPEG – The province took Christmas and Boxing Day off so there won’t be new COVID-19 numbers until tomorrow.
As of Christmas Eve, the Manitoba death toll was 617 and there were 4,489 active cases of the virus.
Meanwhile, a new online dashboard is coming next month to also keep Manitobans updated on vaccinations. Almost 2,200 people have received the shot so far with the next clinics planned for Tuesday and Wednesday. Only one person has suffered any adverse effects after getting the vaccine.
Anyone working at a critical care unit of any age can now book an appointment to get the vaccine.
