WINNIPEG – Because it’s a holiday, the province isn’t releasing any new COVID-19 numbers today.

Yesterday, there were five deaths and 80 new cases including 29 in Winnipeg.

The five day test positivity rate was 5.2 per cent in Manitoba and 3.9 in Winnipeg.

The provincial death toll was 871.
