WINNIPEG – There have been two deadly officer-involved shootings in less than 12 hours.

The first saw a 16 year old girl shot by a cop Wednesday evening at Lagimodiere near Fermor after a liquor mart was robbed.

The other happened in the North End, the 300 block of Anderson, early Thursday morning. A 36 year old man was hit by a fatal shot from an officer’s gun during a domestic dispute.

Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit is looking into what happened in both cases.
