WINNIPEG – A 48-year-old man, from Ontario, driving on highway 2 received more than $1,000 in traffic infractions.

The man was initially stopped for speeding when officers discovered multiple infractions including, 14 passengers on board a 12 seat vehicle.

The driver was fined $495 for speeding, $203 for too many passengers for the number of seats provided, $203 because two people were sharing a seatbelt and $203 for a person sitting on a part of a vehicle not designed for seating.
