KENORA – Ontario Provincial Police have confirmed the identity of the two men that divers recovered from Lake of the Woods on Friday.

Police identified the swimmers as Arwinder Brar, 19-years-old, and Pawan Preet Brar, 20-years-old, both from Winnipeg.

OPP received a report of swimmers in distress Thursday which is when rescue workers began searching the waters near McLeod Park.
