WINNIPEG – Premier Brian Pallister says Manitoba is set to start COVID-19 vaccinations tomorrow morning. He toured the province’s first vaccine clinic yesterday.
Chief public health officer, Dr. Brent Roussin, says many people who tried to book an appointment on the weekend were not eligible to get the shot. The phone line was overwhelmed when the number went public.
At last word, almost 700 frontline healthcare workers have appointments to get the vaccine. There are 900 doses available in this first round of vaccinations.
