WINNIPEG, MB. – Four people were arrested after Police find weapons, drugs and cash at a Winnipeg home.
Yesterday police responded to a call at an address in the 500 block of Alfred Ave. for a report of a firearm seen within the home. Police said, in a release, that initially, 13 people were detained. After executing a search warrant police seized a sawed-off rifle, numerous airsoft guns, bear spray, a quantity of various drugs, and cash.
Winnipeg police charged;
Derek Paul Richard, 31, with various firearms and drug-related offences (15 in total). He was held in custody.
John Alfred Scott, 25, was charged with 2 firearm-related offences and Assault Peace Officer. He was also held in custody.
Two other adults were arrested on outstanding warrants.
