WINNIPEG – CoVid-19 is killing Manitoba hog producers. Processing plants are closing because workers are contracting the virus and that`s causing severe price cuts. The Canadian Pork Council, led by a Manitoban, is calling for government help. But what`s really needed as soon as possible is for restaurants to re-open. We may know more about when that might happen next week as the province is expected to announce it`s re-opening plan.
