THOMPSON – On March 29, 2020, at approximately 12:10 pm, Thompson RCMP received a report of a female requiring medical attention behind a business located on Selkirk Avenue in the community.

Officers attended and met with Thompson Fire and Emergency Services (TFES) who were already on scene and providing medical care to a 52-year-old female.

The female, originally from Shamattawa, was transported to hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.

Thompson RCMP along with the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office continue to investigate.
