WINNIPEG – 2020 is ending with record real estate numbers in the city.

More than 16,000 homes were sold in Winnipeg this year. That’s up from around 13,600 in 2019.

Peter Squire at Winnipeg Realtors also reports about a five per cent increase in prices.

He says sales started really picking up in June and they have continued right through to this month. December sales will top 1,000 when they are normally around 600.
