WINNIPEG – Manitoba’s record-breaking snow maze is still closed because of COVID-19 public health orders.
Clint Masse who created the maze and owns Amaze In Corn is waiting for provincial approval.
When it does opens, he says capacity will be capped at 250 people, masks will be mandatory. Pathways have already been widened to eight feet for proper social distancing.
The warming hut will be closed and people will have to use their cars to get out of the cold.
The maze, near St, Adolphe, was crowned the world biggest in 2019 and according to Masse, it’s 91 per cent bigger this year.
