WINNIPEG – Northern First nations continue to block their partner Manitoba Hydro.

New workers are needed at the Keeyask Generating Station but they’re not being allowed in.

The chiefs say because some of the workers are from other provinces, they’re worried about the spread of CoVid-19 and they want a meeting with Hydro CEO Jay Grewal.

They point to outbreaks of coronavirus at northern work camps in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
