WINNIPEG, MB – Multiple Winnipeg Police cruisers were used to bring a stolen car to a stop on Friday night in the area of Burrows and Arlington, that lead to multiple arrests.
When police safely stopped the stolen vehicle four people were arrested and a search resulted in the seizer of 38 ounces of cocaine (valued at approximately $60,000), a .32 calibre revolver, an unknown calibre revolver and the frame of a replica 1911 handgun.
Police have charged Shaine Christopher Paul, a 29-year-old male of Winnipeg, with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations (x3)
- Possession of a Weapon (x3)
- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition (x3)
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle (x3)
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order (x3)
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized (x3)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (x2)
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Timothy Vance Porth, a 55-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations (x2)
- Possession of a Weapon (x3)
- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition (x3)
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (x3)

Shannon Thomas Sanderson, a 42-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition (x3)

- Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized (x3)

And Ernest Gunther Wunnemann, a 45-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations (x3)
- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition (x3)
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle (x3)
