Suspect High on Meth Robs Liquor Store

WINNIPEG – A man, high on methamphetamine, robbed a liquor store and then fled through a residential area before he was eventually located by Air1 and taken into custody.

Upon further investigation, it was also discovered that he was responsible for robbing the same liquor store a week earlier.

25 year-old Bernard Wailunga has been charged with:

– Robbery (x2)

– Fail to Comply Condition Recognizance by Judge/Justice (x3)

– Fail to Comply with Probation Order

He was detained in custody.
