WINNIPEG – A city man who faces several drugs and weapons charges has been returned to Manitoba after fleeing to Britsih Columbia in violation of his release order.

Winnipeg police say the 24 year old was arrested with another man and a woman after gunshots were fired behind a home last June.

Police say the guy fled to Nelson, BC where officers caught up with him last Wednesday.

They also say the suspect and the other man have been linked to two other incidents here last June including a robbery.
