Winnipeg, MB – The perfect remedy for a cold Manitoba day is to curl up with a good book, and this Saturday there are activities for the whole family at a Winnipeg library near you!

On Saturday, February 2, the Winnipeg Public Library will be celebrating Take Your Child to the Library Day at branches throughout the city with all-day family fun activities, including craft and story stations, special performances, concerts, and scavenger hunts. French activities will be available at Bibliothèque de Saint-Boniface.

Visitors can also swap their current library card for a special children’s card (in English or French) at no cost.

Take Your Child to the Library Day is an annual international event dedicated to encouraging families to visit their local libraries.
