WINNIPEG – It’s September 1st so you need to slow down again in schools zones.

The speed limit in school zones drops from 50 to 30 kilometres per hour today, Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

This as we get ready to send kids back to class in a week.

City police say driving just 20 kilometres and hour faster triples the time it takes to stop.
