WINNIPEG, MB – Winnipeg Police K-9 unit helped capture three female youths after they attempted to rob a store and stabbed a man in the process.

Wednesday around 6:20 a.m., police responded to a robbery in 1300 block of Main Street. Three females attempted to steal items from the store. When confronted by a female clerk they began to assault her. A male clerk stepped in and was stabbed once receiving a minor injury, however he didn’t requiring immediate medical assistance.

The K-9 unit helped to track the suspects and all three were found at a home in the 200 block of Cathedral Ave. and taken into custody.

The three youth females have been charged with Robbery.
