Three Youths Vandalize and Rob Henderson Liquor Mart

WINNIPEG – Three youths caused extensive damage in a Liquor Mart on Henderson Highway before they took about $740 in liquor and fled.

Police along with the K-9 Unit responded and located the first suspect on Brazier Street. He refused to cooperate and after a brief struggle was taken into custody. He continued to be violent while threatening to kill two of the officers.

The second suspect was found on Henderson highway and during a foot pursuit he threw one of the bottles at an officer, narrowly missing him. He was caught and was taken into custody.

The third suspect was found by the K-9Unit hiding in a yard on Helmsdale Avenue.

A 14-year-old youth has been charged with:

– Mischief Under $5,000/Obstruct in Enjoyment

– Assault

– Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm (x2)

– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000

– Theft Under $5000

– Fail to Comply with Sentence

He was also processed on an outstanding arrest warrant for:

– Fail to Comply with Sentence (x2)

He was held in custody.

A 16-year-old has been charged with:

– Assault a Peace Officer with a Weapon

– Mischief Under $5,000/Obstruct in Enjoyment

– Fail to Comply Condition Undertaking by Judge/Justice

– Theft Under $5000

He was detained in custody.

A 16-year-old has been charged with:

– Theft Under $5000

He was released on a Promise to Appear.
