WINNIPEG – A 150 pound tortoise is home again, safe and sound, after escaping for 74 days.

Soloman, an African Sulcata Tortoise, only traveled about an eighth of a mile from his enclosure in Ashland City, Tennessee.

Owner Lynn Cole says a man and his son spotted Soloman grazing in a valley at a construction site.

The rescuers will receive a reward for finding Soloman.
