MANITOU – A 41 year-old man from Treherne, Manitoba was the victim of a single vehicle accident on highway 245 in the RM of Lorne on April 13.

The man was travelling eastbound on highway 245 with his 26 year-old passenger at about 4 am, when his vehicle went off the road and rolled several times. He was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at he scene. It did not appear that he had been wearing a seatbelt.

His passenger was wearing his seatbelt and is now in the hospital with minor injuries.

Manitou RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
