Trio Charged with Break and Enter on Furby Street

WINNIPEG – On December 15, while police were looking in to another matter at an apartment on Furby Street they noticed a suite with a damaged door and door frame.

When they entered the unit they discovered three people inside. Two of the suspects provided false names and one of them had a loaded firearm. When police investigated further they determined that the suite should have been vacant.

29 year-old Myles Junior Keewatincappo has been charged with Break and Enter, Seven Weapons Charges, Public Mischief, failing to comply with a Condition of Recognizance and was also processed on two outstanding arrest warrants.

25 year-old Nicki Gilbert Beardy has been charged with Break and Enter and Public Mischief.

25 year-old Karen Deanna Hastings has been charged withBreak and Enter.

They have all been held in custody.
