WINNIPEG – The province is reporting five deaths today from COVID-19. Four of them are in Winnipeg.

There have also been 133 new cases of the virus, including 97 in Winnipeg.

4,424 cases are active, 19,302 people have recovered, for a total of 24,385 cases so far.

338 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 36 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 12.4 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 12.1. 1,371 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 418,344 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 659.
