WINNIPEG – A man in his 50’s was seriously injured by two women in Central Park last night at around 6PM.

Police responded to the report and found the victim suffering from serious upper-body stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.

Police located and arrested the two women who assaulted him a short time later.

35 year-old Mary Ann West has been charged with Aggravated Assault. She was detained in custody.

A 25-year-old female suspect was also charged with Aggravated Assault. She was released on a Promise to Appear.
