NEEPAWA – RCMP are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision involving a deer on Highway 5 just north of Neepawa.

The accident occurred just before 6:00 P.M. last night when a vehicle being driven by a 42 year-old man struck a deer. The second vehicle, being driven by a 58 year-old man and a 58 year-old woman, hit the same deer.

Both occupants, who were from Cornwallis, were taken to the hospital where the woman was pronounced deceased.

RCMP continue to investigate.
