WINNIPEG – They remembered Darius Bezecki last night as a happy boy who always had a smile on his face.

Family and friends gathered at Ernie O’Dowda Park near the Red River which took the life of the nine year old.

The vigil thanked the searchers who found Darius including the police dive team.

The boy was riding his bike with siblings Friday afternoon when he went missing near the Louise Bridge.

Cops announced on Sunday that they had found the boy’s body.
