WFPS Drones A Success

Manitoba Post StaffNews

WINNIPEG – It sounds like the drone program at the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service will become permanent.

A new public service report says the drone pilot project participated in over 40 major incidents.

Everyone involved agrees, these drones helped deploy the right resources in the rights spots and they improved safety.

The WFPS figures it can pay for the drone program through its existing funding as long as the protection committee at city hall says yes.
