WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose will wear a special jersey to celebrate Indigenous culture through sports.

Partnering with the Winnipeg Aboriginal Sport Achievement Centre the Winnipeg Jets jerseys will be worn during the pre-game skate on Friday, Jan. 17. The Manitoba Moose will wear their jerseys for the entire game on Saturday, Jan. 18.

The jerseys will be available for auction at nhlauctions.com from Thursday, Jan. 23 through Sunday, Feb. 2 with proceeds going toward the Winnipeg Aboriginal Sport Achievement Centre.

Both organizations said there will be no jerseys available for sale this year but there are many WASAC and FYD merchandise options at Jets Gear.
