Winnipeg K-9 Unit Tracks Down Three Suspects

WINNIPEG, MB. – Winnipeg Police K-9 Unit tracks down three assault suspects on Sargent Avenue.

Yesterday, around 8:30 p.m. a women called police to say that her husband was being assaulted at a convenience store on Ellice Avenue. The suspects fled on foot however, the K-9 Unit was able to track the location of the suspects to the 500 block of Sargent Avenue.

Charles Kaniki, 18-years-old of Winnipeg was arrested and charged with Robbery and Fail to Comply with Recognizance (x5). He was detained in custody.

Another adult male was arrested and charged with Robbery and a third man was arrested and charged with Robbery and Possess Weapon.
