WINNIPEG – A 39-year-old man from Winnipeg, who once worked with the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba, is facing Child Pornography related charges.

Police say they were alerted by an outside law enforcement agency that a suspect with a Winnipeg IP address was sharing images of Child Pornography.

Detectives from the Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) began an investigation and a search warrant was executed at a home in Winnipeg. As a result police arrested and charged charged a 39-year-old man on Monday.

Trevor James Pemberton has been charged with:

• Possession of Child Pornography
• Import, Distribute, Sell or Possess for the Purpose of Distribution or Sale of any Child Pornography
