Winnipeg Man Charged With Drug Trafficking

WINNIPEG – A Winnipeg man has been charged with Drug Trafficking after being caught with $7,575 worth of Methamphetamine.

On December 6th, shortly after midnight, police stopped a vehicle that had been driving erratically on Portage Avenue. Before the vehicle pulled over however, the driver threw a bag out of the window. Police retrieved the bag and found that it contained about 49 grams of meth.

38 year-old Bryden Stewart Macdougall has been charged with possession of Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property, driving without a licence, and an outstanding warrant for failing to appear was also executed.

He has been detained at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
