WINNIPEG – Winnipeg Police are investigating a Christmas Day homicide in the City.

On December 25, around 10:30AM officers came upon a man down who was on the sidewalk at the intersection of Salter Street and Redwood Avenue. Police said that the man had been assaulted, was taken to hospital but pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as Gordon Edward Pashe, 37.

The investigation is ongoing.
