WINNIPEG – The victim in yesterday’s 23rd homicide has now been identified as 23 year-old Chad McKenzie.

Chad was shot near John M King Elementary School and later died as a result of his injuries.

Investigators are asking both residents and businesses in the area to check any security systems for possible video. As well, anyone having information about people or activity in the area during this time is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
