WINNIPEG – A 16 year old boy has suffered life-altering injuries after being struck by a train in Winnipeg.

Police say the teen was hit Sunday afternoon on tracks behind Pembina Highway.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable.

Cops and CN Rail are investigating but both believe it was an accident.
