WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Police Service is encouraging all Winnipeggers to get involved in crime prevention through their new initiative, All Valuables Removed.

You can do your part to stop crime in your neighbourhood by:

Removing all valuables from your vehicles

Never leave your vehicle running and unattended

Always close windows and lock all doors

Don’t leave personal identification, credit cards or loose change in your vehicle

Park in well-lit areas with pedestrian traffic

After you have done this you can take one one step further and place the bright yellow sticker on your window. It should:

Remind other community members that see it to follow suit

Hopefully deter bad guys from trying to break into your car (as there is nothing valuable in it)

Remind you the vehicle owner to remove all valuables.

You can get these stickers in any of your local police stations.
