WINNIPEG – Four youths, between the ages of 11 and 16 were attacked on Sunday in the Champlain schoolyard.
The youths were confronted by a group of 5-7 men at around 2:15 P.M. and shot with BB-Guns. All four youths were struck but fortunately did not sustain any significant injuries. The suspects fled on foot.
The victims were not students of the school. A Winnipeg Police Service School Resource Officer (SRO) has been at the school throughout the day to assist staff and students with any questions.
