WINNIPEG – The province is reporting one death today from COVID-19, a woman in her 90’s in Winnipeg.

There are 45 new cases of the virus, including 23 in Winnipeg.

1,196 cases are active, 29,507 people have recovered, for a total of 31,590 cases so far.

207 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 29 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 4.6 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is an even four. 1,805 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 517,602 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 887.
