WINNIPEG – The province is reporting 10 deaths today from COVID-19, eight of them in Winnipeg.

There are also 176 new cases of the virus, including 109 in Winnipeg.

4,460 cases are active, 20,376 people have recovered, for a total of 25,541 cases so far.

329 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 37 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 10.4 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 11.5 per cent. 1,845 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 430,597 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 705.
