WINNIPEG – The province is reporting 11 deaths from COVID-19 since the last update on Thursday. Seven of the deaths are in Winnipeg.

There are also 327 new cases of the virus, including 213 in Winnipeg.

4,559 cases are active, 19,789 people have recovered, for a total of 25,026 cases so far.

334 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 42 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 10.4 per cent. Winnipeg’s rate is 11.1. 1,898 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 425,037 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 678.
