WINNIPEG – A 13-year-old Winnipeg male was charged in the death of a 17-year-old found in the railway underpass.

Police said they found a the 17-year-old male in the railway underpass on McPhillips Street near Logan Avenue. The male had been assaulted and was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

The Homicide Unit believes that the victim was stabbed during a physical altercation with another a 13-year-old male.

Friday police on Stella Avenue and after a short foot pursuit arrested the13-year-old male of and charged him with Second Degree Murder.
