BRANDON, MB – Brandon police have arrested and charged a 14-year-old after he pulled a knife on another male.

Police said they were alerted that a male youth pointed a knife at another male near 6th Street and Princess Avenue. Police located the young man involved. They subsequently learned that one male youth assaulted the other and when the victim attempted to protect himself, the suspect pulled out a small knife.

The suspect is 14-years-old, he was arrested for Assault and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. Police said he was released to his parents and scheduled to appear in Court. There were no physical injuries because of this incident.
