WINNIPEG – A 16 year-old youth has been charged in the April 18 homicide of 53 year-old Joselito Fernandez.
Fernandez was walking along the rail line when he was shot and robbed. It is believed that the two were not known to each other before the shooting.
A 16-year-old male of Winnipeg has been charged with:
– Second Degree Murder
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order
– Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order (x2)
He was detained in custody.
