17 Year-Old Teen Arrested for Armed Break and Enter

STEINBACH – A 17 year-old youth from DeSalaberry has been charged with break and enter as well as numerous weapons charges after he and an unknown suspect broke into an apartment on February 18.

Two men, one armed with a firearm forced their way into an apartment on Loewen Boulevard at about 9:00 pm. There were two people in the apartment and one of the suspects threatened them, although they never fired the weapon. It is believed that the victims were specifically targeted.

A 17-year-old male youth from the RM of DeSalaberry has been remanded into custody on charges of;

– Breaking and Entering

– Careless Use of a Firearm

– Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purposes

– Possession of a Prohibited Weapon

– Assault with a Weapon

– Assault

– Uttering Threats x 3
