WINNIPEG – A 17 year-old youth was charged with multiple firearm offences after two victims reported that he had pointed a gun at them while they were leaving a parking lot on Sterling Lyon Parkway.

The incident happened at 7:00 pm and after the victims fled the area they contacted police immediately.

Officers quickly located the youth in the area and upon his arrest, he was found to be in possession of a simulated firearm and a knife.

The 17-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged with the following offences:

2 x Possession of a Weapon

2 x Pointing a Firearm

2 x Carrying a Concealed Weapon

The accused was remanded into custody.
