19 Year-old Woman Suffers Severe Beating During Robbery

On November 6, at 9:25 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a business on St. Anne’s Rd. Officers located the victim, a 19-year-old woman, suffering from upper body injuries.

The victim advised that she observed two men leave the store with numerous goods without paying for them. The suspects, observing the victim record the plate number of their vehicle, returned to the store, and seriously assaulted the victim to the point of unconsciousness. They also stole the victim’s cell phone.

The victim was treated in hospital for her injuries.

The suspects are described as Indigenous males, 25 – 35 years of age; approximately 6 feet tall with average build and short dark hair.

The vehicle is described as a white, newer model SUV.
