WINNIPEG – A resident at a personal care home in the city has died from COVID-19.

The death occurred at Parkview Place where a total of eight cases of the virus have been reported.

Parkview is one of six personal care homes in Winnipeg that have been elevated to critical or red under the province’s pandemic response system.

Seven of the 19 Manitobans killed so far by coronavirus have been residents of personal care homes.
